Meet Danni

A compassionate mother, seasoned world traveler, and advocate of holistic well-being. With a Bachelor of Nutrition Science, she witnessed the power of supportive care while working as a clinical nutritionist in an acquired brain injury unit. However, her true transformation began when she discovered Equine Assisted Learning, finding solace and guidance in the presence of horses.

Danni developed a profound emotional connection with her equine companions, who became mirrors of her emotions. This connection allowed her to explore her inner world and cultivate authentic bonds. Now pursuing a Master's in Gestalt Therapy, she offers a holistic approach to healing and personal growth.

A lifelong traveler with a deep affinity for Africa, Danni was captivated by wild African animals from a young age, beginning with a memorable encounter with a Masai tribe in Mombasa. This passion for wildlife led her to immerse herself in her herd of brumbies.

At Wisdom of the Brumby, Danni invites you to embrace the wisdom of nature and horses. Through Equine Assisted Learning, she provides a safe space for emotional healing, self-awareness, and connection. Join her to experience the transformative power of the human-horse bond and embark on your journey of personal growth and well-being.

Abstract Horizon

Why Brumbies?

"My journey with Wisdom of the Brumby began three years ago when I encountered my first brumby after experiencing burnout as a clinical nutritionist in a brain injury ward. The universe guided me towards a healing path that involved facing my fears alongside a wild brumby stallion.

This incredible horse, Warrego, has since become my best mentor and most honest friend, teaching me more about authenticity and inner wisdom than I ever imagined possible. Warrego supported me through a challenging recovery from a severe injury and PTSD, offering a profound sense of connection and acceptance. This experience revealed to me the transformative power of the human-horse bond and inspired me to share this healing magic with others.

I am committed to preserving the brumbies' legacy and advocating for their humane treatment, ensuring they can continue to inspire and heal others as they have done for me."
